Balustrade Posts: Stainless Steel and Aluminium Railing Posts
Balustrade Posts covers end, intermediate and corner posts for balcony and stair balustrades. The range includes AISI 304 stainless steel and aluminium posts. Some come as complete sets with glass clamps, cover plates and handrail connectors. Others are supplied unequipped for rod or tube infill. It is intended for installers and builders.

How to choose
- Material and finish: AISI 304 stainless steel in satin finish, or aluminium with matt powder coating in black or dark grey.
- Post position: choose end (left or right), intermediate or corner posts to match the run of the balustrade.
- Infill: check the glass thickness (6-10.76 mm for clamp posts, 8.72 mm for Kozza) or the ø12 mm tubes and rods on PSG posts.
- Mounting: floor-mounted posts use a base or flange (ø100 mm or 105x105 mm). Side-mounted versions fix to the wall.
- Height and profile: posts range from 881 to 1283 mm. Choose round ø42.4 mm, square 40x40 mm or 45x45 mm.
Typical applications
These posts are used for balcony and stair balustrades with glass infill. PSG and PINOX versions suit bracket-mounted rod or tube infill. Several stainless steel posts are described for indoor and outdoor use. The aluminium Kozza posts have weather-resistant powder coating.

What glass thickness do the posts take?
Stainless steel ø42.4 mm posts with clamps, such as 000-558 and 000-560, are listed for glass 6-10.76 mm. Kozza aluminium posts are for 8.72 mm glass.
How is the handrail support fixed?
On the stainless steel clamp posts the handrail support is not permanently bonded. Anaerobic adhesive for stainless steel should be used to fix it.
What are the unequipped PINOX posts drilled for?
PINOX posts have M6 or M8 threaded holes for bracket mounting. They stand on a ø100 mm flange or a 105x105 mm base plate.
