How to choose
- Application: choose an empty enclosure or hermetic board to fit your own devices. Choose a junction box if you need a circuit breaker and surge protection already installed.
- Size: match the module count (4, 8, 12, 18 or 2x12) to the devices, leaving space for N+PE terminals. RH boards accept devices 68 and 75 mm deep.
- Voltage: the plastic enclosures are rated 400V AC / 1500V DC. The RH boards and several junction boxes are rated 1000V DC.
- Protection devices: check the circuit breaker rating (10, 16, 20, 40 or 50 A), the number of PV strings or inputs, and whether an RCD is fitted. SH-355 includes a 300 mA Type A RCD.
- Environment: IP65 suits outdoor mounting. For lightning protection, choose a wall-mounted or ground box that matches the installation point.
