Self-closing devices: door closers, gate closers and hinges
Self-closing devices close doors, gates and pedestrian gates automatically and without slamming. This category covers hydraulic door closers, door closer arms, gate closers and self-closing gate hinges. It is intended for installers and builders fitting internal doors, entrance doors, garden gates and fencing gates.

How to choose
- Leaf weight and width: check the maximum values for each model. Door closers in this range cover 60-200 kg and 950-1400 mm.
- Closing force class: choose EN 2/3/4, EN 3, EN 3-4 or EN 1-6 to suit the door size and use.
- Arm: some GEZE closers are supplied without an arm. Select a matching arm separately, for TS 1500/1000 or TS 4000/2000.
- Gate mounting and opening angle: decide between hinge-integrated, post, wall or sliding rail mounting. Check the 90° or 180° opening and the left (DIN L) or right (DIN R) version.
- Finish: colours include silver, brown, bronze, black RAL 9005, white RAL 9016 and anthracite RAL 7016.

Do door closers come with an arm?
Not always. GEZE TS 1500, TS 3000 V and TS 4000 are supplied without an arm, and for the TS 2000 NV the closing arm is sold separately. Matching GEZE arms are listed in this category.
What door weight can these closers handle?
Gerda GD500 and GD900 suit doors up to 60 kg and 950 mm wide. GEZE TS 4000 handles leaves up to 200 kg and 1400 mm wide. Check the data for each model.
Can the Locinox universal hinge be fitted to different gate materials?
Yes. It mounts on posts and gate leaves made of steel, aluminium, wood and fencing profiles. The closing speed is adjustable.
