Locinox Mammoth 180-2 is a professional hydraulic self-closer with hinge function, designed for gates weighing up to 150 kg and up to 1500 mm wide. Thanks to its 180° opening angle and Quick-Fix system, the product ensures convenient, fast installation and reliable gate closing – without the need for a separate self-closer and hinges.
The device combines two elements in one compact housing: a load-bearing hinge carrying the weight of the leaf and a hydraulic self-closing mechanism with adjustable closing speed. This solution eliminates additional fittings, simplifies installation and gives the fence an aesthetic, minimalist look.
Construction and operating principle
Inside the Mammoth 180-2 housing there is a precise hydraulic system with springs and a gear mechanism, which ensures controlled, smooth closing of the gate. The mechanism is fully enclosed and protected from weather conditions, guaranteeing years of trouble-free operation even in demanding outdoor conditions.
The Quick-Fix system enables quick fastening of the hinges to the post and gate frame – without the need for welding. Simply prepare the mounting holes and screw the modules in place, significantly reducing installation time.
