GEZE scissor arm with mechanical hold-open device is an original accessory designed for GEZE TS 1500 and GEZE TS 1000 door closers. Thanks to the built-in mechanical hold-open device, the arm allows the door leaf to be held in the open position — a solution particularly useful in corridors where doors need to remain open for longer periods, e.g. during material transport or heavy traffic on construction sites.
The scissor arm design provides a compact installation directly above the door leaf, eliminating the need for a visible sliding track. The arm is made of a durable metal alloy with a black finish, which blends harmoniously with dark door frames and modern joinery. Application and installation
The scissor arm is fitted between the door closer and the door frame. The hold-open mechanism allows the door to be manually locked in the open position — simply open the leaf to the hold-open angle and the arm will keep it in place. Release is achieved by gently pulling the door, after which the door closer resumes control of the closing motion. This practical solution eliminates the need to prop the door open and improves the comfort of using the building.
