The PINOX corner post is a professional structural element for balustrades, designed for floor mounting. Made of stainless steel AISI 304 with a satin finish, it provides high corrosion resistance and an elegant appearance that works well both indoors and in outdoor spaces.
The post is equipped with 4 precisely threaded M8 holes arranged in two pairs at a 90° angle, enabling stable mounting of brackets for bars or tubes filling the balustrade. The welded mounting base with a diameter of ø100 mm with three elongated holes ensures secure and permanent attachment to the substrate. The post is compatible with the standard 42.4 mm balustrade system.

Post dimensions — technical drawing
The drawing shows the arrangement of M8 threaded holes on the post and key vertical dimensions. The holes are arranged in two pairs — the upper pair is located 121 mm from the top, the lower pair 250 mm from the base, with the spacing between pairs being 610 mm. The tube with cross-section ø42.4 × 2 mm is welded to a base with diameter ø100 mm.
Application and maintenance
The PINOX corner post is intended primarily for indoor applications — staircases, mezzanines, galleries or commercial buildings. It may also be used outdoors with appropriate regular maintenance. Installation is not recommended in direct proximity to swimming pools, swimming baths or in areas exposed to intensive sea salt action.
The elongated holes in the base facilitate precise levelling of the post during installation, and the welded flange eliminates the need for additional adapters — direct attachment to the substrate is sufficient. This significantly reduces installation time, resulting in higher efficiency of the installation team.
