How to choose
- Conductor size: most holders and connectors suit Ø8–10 mm wire. Some low posts and spring holders are for Ø8 mm only.
- Roof or wall type: pick tile hooks, seam clamps, concrete supports or low posts for sheet metal, felt or shingles to match the surface.
- Connector class: connectors are rated class H2 (200 kA) or class H (100 kA). Check the rating against your design.
- Material and finish: choose galvanised steel with polymer seal or stainless steel, depending on exposure.
- Flat conductor width: clamps and holders cover tape up to 30, 40 or 50×4 mm.
Frequently asked questions
Which conductor diameter do the brackets fit?
Most brackets and holders are for Ø8–10 mm wire. Some low posts and spring holders for tiles are designed for Ø8 mm wire.
Can conductors be fixed to a standing seam roof without drilling?
Yes. The galvanised steel seam holder is installed without drilling. It routes Ø8–10 mm conductors along and across the seam.
