The 50 mm² high-voltage cable with an aluminium conductor is a certified solution for lightning current discharge in locations where the required isolation distance cannot be maintained. Thanks to its cross-linked polyethylene insulation, the cable allows lightning protection installations to be safely routed even in direct proximity to metallic and conductive elements.
When to use it? A high-voltage cable is essential wherever the route of a lightning protection installation passes near metallic structures, electrical installations, or other conductive elements, and maintaining the normative isolation distance is not possible. Using this cable eliminates the need for costly rerouting and reduces installation time.
Cable construction comprises a stranded aluminium conductor with a cross-section of 50 mm², surrounded by a layer of cross-linked polyethylene insulation. The outer diameter is just 20.5 mm, making it easy to route the cable through confined spaces and secure it using standard cable clips.
