How to choose
- Rated current: protective devices range from 6 A to 100 A, so match the value to the circuit.
- Poles and type: check the number of poles (1P to 4P, also with N) and the device type, such as overcurrent or residual current.
- Breaking capacity and curve: most circuit breakers offer 6 kA, a few 10 kA. Choose curve B or C for the load.
- Inverter phase and MPPT: single-phase models have 1 MPPT, three-phase models have 2 MPPT.
- Protection rating: for outdoor enclosures and inverters, look for IP65.
Typical applications

What solar DC cable cross-sections are offered?
Solar DC cable is available as 1x4 mm² and 1x6 mm², in black and red. It is rated 1.5 kV DC and suitable for direct burial.
