Pressure Rubber 8mm for 50D1 Clamps

The 8mm pressure rubber is a dedicated rubber gasket designed for glass clamps from the 50D1 group, used in glass balustrades. The inserts are placed between the glass panel and the fixing clamp, providing secure immobilisation of the pane, vibration dampening, and protection of the glass edges from direct contact with metal.

Thanks to the flexible material, the rubber distributes clamping pressure evenly, minimising the risk of cracks and scratches to the glass panel. The pack of 2 pieces allows for quick installation on a single clamp — simply place the rubbers on both sides of the glass within the clamp socket.

Applications

The pressure rubber is suitable wherever glass panels are secured in point-fixing clamps — primarily in glass balustrades, both interior and exterior. It is a consumable component that is worth keeping in stock when undertaking larger balustrade projects, allowing a worn seal to be replaced quickly without dismantling the entire clamp.
