Mounting accessories for PV panels: clamps, adapters, seals

Mounting accessories is the category for the small parts that complete a photovoltaic installation. It covers module clamps, roof adapters, cable seals, end caps and gaskets. The range is aimed at installers and builders who fix PV modules to profiles on flat and pitched roofs.

How to choose

  • Panel frame thickness: end clamps are offered for 30, 32, 35 and 40 mm frames. Adjustable versions cover 30-50 mm.
  • Clamp position: use end clamps at the edge of a row and middle clamps between two adjacent modules.
  • Finish and colour: clamps come in silver or black, as anodised or painted aluminium 6060.
  • Adapter material and thread: choose stainless steel 1.4016 or 1.4301, or aluminium. Threads are M10 or M12, so match them to your double-threaded screw.
  • Grounding and fitting: some middle clamps have a grounding pin. KLIK versions use a click latch with nut and bolt.

Typical applications

Adapters with double-threaded screws are used on metal sheet, shingle and felt roofs, and on flat roofs with timber structures. Clamps hold modules on T-slot, hexagonal-bolt and trapezoidal profiles. Cable seals suit cable penetrations through roofs and facades. End caps close the ends of 40×40 mm profiles.

Which clamp fits my module frame?

Check the frame thickness first. Fixed end clamps are made for 30, 32, 35 and 40 mm frames. Adjustable end clamps hold 30-50 mm. The H24 middle clamp suits frames of 30-40 mm.

Are there clamps with a grounding pin?

Yes. Middle clamps H25 L50 are available with a grounding pin, in aluminium 6060. One version has black anodising. They support lightning and surge protection installations.

What are the mounting adapters used with?

The adapters are compatible with double-threaded screws. They are used on metal and bitumen roofing. Some sets include the M10 screw, EPDM washer and flange nuts.
