Black flat end cap for 40×40 mm PV mounting profile – type 3 LLDPE
The type 3 flat end cap for 40×40 mm mounting profiles is an essential finishing component for any photovoltaic installation based on aluminium profiles. Fitted onto the open ends of profiles, it effectively protects their interior from the ingress of rainwater, dirt and contaminants, which could accelerate corrosion of the steel connectors inside the profile. Made of black LLDPE polyethylene, the end cap remains fully flexible even at extremely low temperatures and is highly resistant to degradation caused by UV radiation. Thanks to its flat design, the cap does not protrude beyond the outline of the profile, ensuring an aesthetic, professional appearance for the end of the mounting rail.
