Aluminium PV mounting profile 40×40 mm – 665 cm rail for M10 bolts
The 40x40 mm mounting profile with a length of 665 cm is a fundamental component of the support structure for photovoltaic modules. Made from 6060 aluminium, it combines low self-weight with good mechanical strength and full corrosion resistance. The dual-channel cross-section — with an upper channel for panel mounting clamps and a lower channel for connecting to roof hooks, adapters or triangles — allows a complete sub-rail to be built from a single profile. Installation is based on M10 DIN 933 hex bolts in the lower channel and M8 square nuts in the upper channel, eliminating the need for drilling and speeding up work on the roof. The profile is also available in a black anodised version, and its length can be extended using profile connectors sold separately.

The upper rail channel, with a groove width of 10.8 mm, accommodates M8 square nuts used to secure the mid and end clamps. This allows PV panels to be positioned anywhere along the profile — without drilling and without additional adapters. The lower channel, with a 9 mm opening, works with M10 hex bolts, which connect the profile to roof hooks or other substructure components. This configuration makes the entire system fully adjustable, allowing precise positioning of the profile relative to the roof slope.
