PV Round Earthing Washer with Ø44 mm Notch – A2 Stainless Steel
Earthing washer variant IV is a round mounting component with a distinctive notch, designed for potential equalisation in photovoltaic installations. It ensures galvanic continuity of connections between PV module frames and the mounting structure, meeting the requirements for lightning protection and system earthing. The washer is fitted with sharp prongs arranged around its circumference, which, as the bolt is tightened, pierce the thin anodised aluminium layer covering the PV module frames. The anodised layer is an insulator — only once it is breached do the prongs reach the bare aluminium and form a solid, durable electrical connection. Manufactured from A2 stainless steel (1.4301, grade 304), it guarantees exceptional corrosion resistance in all weather conditions, ensuring uninterrupted performance throughout the entire service life of the installation.
