Aluminum profiles
The performance and safety of a photovoltaic system are largely based on the right choice of components and careful installation. Specific mounting elements are used for the fixed installation of the solar panels on the roof or a special frame. Their use determines the efficiency of the system and the safety of the roof covering from possible damage during installation. Aluminum profiles occupy a key position among these elements. What is their function and how are they used? You will find answers to these questions in today's article.
Aluminum profiles play an extremely important role in the installation of photovoltaic panels. They are responsible for connecting the modules to the roof or ground structures. This means that the panels are not mounted directly on the roofing, but on previously installed aluminum profiles. This enables a stable attachment of the modules as well as protecting the roof from potential mechanical damage. The use of profiles ensures the longevity and resistance of the installation to the weather, which also makes installation easier.
How are aluminum profiles installed on the roof? Special brackets are used for fastening, which are adapted to both the types of profiles and the type of roof covering. For example, brackets made of galvanized or stainless steel are used when mounting modules on roof tiles. In the case of pitched roofs, asymmetrical brackets are sometimes used. Adapters and double-threaded screws are used for roofs with metal roof tiles.
