Description
Aluminium H-70 Trapezoidal Roof Bridge with EPDM 400 mm – PV Mounting on Trapezoidal Sheet Metal

The H-70 trapezoidal roof bridge with EPDM seal is an aluminium bridging profile designed for direct mounting of photovoltaic panels on roofs covered with trapezoidal sheet metal. The profile's height ensures an appropriate distance between the module and the roof surface, allowing free airflow beneath the panel. Natural ventilation supports module cooling, which directly translates into maintaining their efficiency on hot days. The profile is made from 6060 aluminium alloy, characterised by high corrosion resistance and good mechanical strength. The lower part of the bridge is fitted with an EPDM seal, which protects the roof covering from damage and ensures a tight fit against the trapezoidal sheet metal. The upper rail with a mounting channel allows quick fastening of mid and end clamps using hex socket bolts and square nuts — without the need for specialist tools.
Advantages of the H-70 bridging profile
- The elevated profile design provides ventilation space between the panel and the roof, supporting natural module cooling
- The EPDM seal on the profile's feet protects the trapezoidal sheet metal from scratching and eliminates galvanic contact between the aluminium and the steel roof covering
- 6060 aluminium is suitable for anodising, allowing additional corrosion protection and an aesthetic finish to be achieved
- The universal mounting channel in the upper rail works with mid and end clamps from standard PV systems
- Mounting holes are made on-site during installation, allowing precise adjustment of spacing to match the specific sheet profile

The technical drawing shows the full cross-section of the profile with the dimensions of key structural elements marked. The characteristic trapezoidal shape of the feet, the central mounting channel in the upper rail, and the groove for inserting square nuts are visible. Detailed profile dimensions can be found in the Dimensions table below.
