H-70 Trapezoidal Bridge with EPDM is an aluminium mounting profile designed for direct fixing of photovoltaic panels on roofs covered with trapezoidal sheet metal. The type 2 variant is dedicated to higher roof connections — the height of the profile ensures free airflow beneath the modules, allowing them to cool naturally and stay away from the heated roof surface. The profile is fitted with an upper mounting channel, to which mid and end clamps are attached using hex socket screws and square nuts. EPDM gaskets are fitted to the feet of the profile, which dampen vibrations, protect the sheet metal coating from scratching and seal the point of contact with the roof covering. The holes for the screws fixing to the sheet metal are made on site — this allows the installer to match the hole spacing to the spacing of the trapezoidal ridges.
