The H-40 trapezoidal bracket with EPDM seal is an aluminium bridging profile designed for direct mounting of photovoltaic modules on roofs covered with trapezoidal sheet metal. Made from 6060 aluminium alloy, the profile combines high corrosion resistance with good mechanical strength, ensuring the durability of the installation throughout its entire service life. The profile is fitted on the crest of the trapezoidal sheet's rib, and its height allows free air flow beneath the panel — natural cooling of the modules improves their efficiency and separates the panel from the heated roof surface. The top mounting channel allows mid and end clamps to be fitted using hex socket screws and square nuts, giving the installation team flexibility in positioning the modules.

Installation on a trapezoidal sheet metal roof
The trapezoidal bracket is fitted directly onto the crest of the trapezoidal sheet's rib. The EPDM seal ensures tight adhesion of the profile to the surface and protects the sheet metal from damage at the mounting point. The holes for the screws fixing the profile to the roof structure are drilled on site — allowing the installer to adjust the spacing to the specific sheet metal profile. Photovoltaic panels are attached to the bracket's top channel using mid or end clamps.

Compatibility with the clamp system
The profile works with a wide range of mounting accessories. Mid and end clamps are fitted into the top channel of the rail, and square nuts with a hexagonal head lock them in the desired position. The diagrams below show example configurations using end and mid clamps.



The profile's construction is based on a symmetrical trapezoidal cross-section with a central mounting channel at the top. The large contact surface with the sheet metal ensures stability, while the uniform wall thickness guarantees adequate rigidity while keeping the weight low. The even distribution of loads allows clamps to be fixed at any point along the channel.
