Profile connectors for extending PV mounting profiles

Profile connectors join and extend mounting profiles in photovoltaic installations. This category contains aluminium channel connectors in several lengths and a stainless steel cross angle bracket for 90° joints. They are intended for installers and builders who assemble PV mounting substructures on roofs.

What you will find in this category

  • Aluminium channel connectors, 6060 aluminium, 25×45×25 mm profile, 2.5 mm wall thickness, lengths 100 mm, 120 mm, 200 mm (20 cm).
  • Natural finish connectors, with a black anodised version available for selected lengths.
  • Black anodised connectors in 100 mm, 120 mm and 200 mm lengths, weighing 0.06-0.12 kg.
  • Stainless steel A2 (304) cross angle bracket, 44.5 × 40 mm, 2.5 mm thick, for connecting profiles at 90°.

How to choose

  • Profile cross-section: the aluminium connectors have a 25×45×25 mm channel. Use them with mounting profiles of the same channel size.
  • Length: choose 100 mm, 120 mm or 200 mm depending on the joint you need to make.
  • Hole layout: holes are Ø10.5 mm. Spacing is 50 mm on the 100 mm connector and 85 mm on the 120 mm connector. Check it against your bolts.
  • Finish: natural 6060 aluminium resists corrosion. Choose black anodised if a uniform dark appearance is required.
  • Joint angle: use channel connectors for straight extensions. Use the A2 cross angle bracket for 90° connections. It is sold without bolts and nuts.

Typical applications

The connectors extend mounting rails in photovoltaic installations, including flat-roof mounting systems. The channel is inserted into the connected profiles and bolted through two holes. This allows longer profile runs to be built. The cross angle bracket serves photovoltaic substructures that need profiles joined at a right angle.

Frequently asked questions

What material are the aluminium connectors made of?

They are made of 6060 aluminium with a 2.5 mm wall thickness. This gives natural corrosion resistance. Black anodised versions are also available.

Are bolts included with the cross angle bracket?

No. The A2 (304) stainless steel cross angle bracket is sold without bolts and nuts.
