Ballast systems for PV panels and heat pumps without drilling
This category contains prefabricated C40/50 concrete ballast blocks and bases. They hold photovoltaic panels on flat roofs and on the ground, and they carry outdoor heat pump units. The weight of the concrete stabilises the installation, so there is no drilling into the roof covering or the ground. The range is aimed at installers and installation companies.

- Block dimensions: compare the footprint and height with the available roof or ground area, for example 1300 mm base and 1012 mm height for GSE1300.
- Mounting rail and accessories: PP550 and PP600 have an HAZ 28/15 rail, and PPZ550 a built-in 18/25 rail. PP550 and PP600 include vibration-isolating pads, and PPZ550 comes with a fixing set.
- Pack size: sets range from 2 to 16 pieces, so match the quantity to the project.
Typical applications
Flat-roof blocks suit PV installations where the roof membrane must stay intact. The ground-mounted blocks suit sites where drilling is impossible or undesirable. The heat pump bases carry outdoor heat pump, air conditioning or ventilation units. PPZ550 is designed for burial in the ground.
