PV Aluminium Mounting Profile 40×40 mm Black Anodised – 195 cm Rail for M10 Bolts
The 40×40 mm mounting profile made of black anodised 6060 aluminium is a fundamental component of the load-bearing structure of photovoltaic installations. The dual-channel cross-section design allows PV modules to be mounted from above (with mid and end clamps) while simultaneously connecting the profile to the substructure from below — using roof hooks, adapters or ground-mounted triangles. Black anodising provides enhanced resistance to corrosion and UV radiation, as well as an attractive appearance that matches dark full-black modules. The 195 cm length profile is suitable both for small roof installations and for extensive multi-row systems — the length can be increased using separately available profile connectors. The lower channel is mounted with M10 DIN 933 hexagon bolts and M10 flange nuts, while the upper channel accepts M8 square nuts, ensuring secure tightening of clamps without twisting in the groove.

The upper rail channel with a groove width of 10.8 mm (±0.3 mm) allows an M8 square nut to be inserted and a PV panel clamp to be secured. The lower channel, 9 mm wide (±0.75 mm), is designed for M10 DIN 933 hexagon bolts, which connect the profile to roof hooks or other substructure components. A wall thickness of 1.2 mm across the entire cross-section provides an optimal strength-to-weight ratio — the profile weighs just 0.82 kg/m, making it easy to transport and handle on the roof.
