UFR black end cap for 80×40 mm PV mounting profiles – LLDPE polyethylene
UFR end cap 80×40 mm is a finishing component designed to terminate mounting profiles in photovoltaic installations. Slid onto the open end of a profile with a 80×40 mm cross-section, it effectively protects the interior against the ingress of rainwater, snow, dust and small debris that could accelerate corrosion of the internal aluminium walls. Made of LLDPE polyethylene, it combines flexibility with high mechanical resistance — the material does not crack even in extreme frost and remains stable under prolonged exposure to UV radiation. The black colour of the cap blends discreetly with dark profiles and modules, improving the aesthetics of the entire support structure. Thanks to its low weight and simple push-fit installation, the component requires no additional tools or fasteners — it just needs to be pressed on by hand at the end of the profile.
