About the product

The post is a load-bearing component of panel fencing. It is made from steel tube with a cross-section of 100 × 100 mm, and the panels are secured to it with fence post clamps sized to suit this cross-section.

In the drawing, a × b denotes the external cross-sectional dimensions: 100 × 100 mm. The tube wall thickness s is 3 mm, and the post length L is 2200 mm. The dimensions are taken from the manufacturer's drawing and comparison table; the cross-section is not shown to scale relative to the length.

The coating (zinc-coated and powder-coated, black RAL 9005) protects the steel against corrosion under typical conditions. In the event of contact with salt, chemicals or constant moisture, choose a version suitable for the exposure conditions. The post embedment depth is specified by the fence design.

• ✓Set the post into a foundation or secure it to a fence post base plate designed for the 100 × 100 mm cross-section.
• ✓Before the concrete sets, check that the posts are plumb and spaced to suit the panel width.
