Fencing post 100×100×2 mm with length 2.4 m and galvanised coating is a robust structural element designed for construction of palisade fencing – both residential and industrial. Made from steel section with square cross-section, it ensures high stability and rigidity of the entire fencing structure. The increased length of 2400 mm allows for deeper foundation embedding whilst maintaining appropriate fence height.
Large cross-section 100×100 mm combined with wall thickness 2.0 mm makes this post excellent as support for heavy palisade and panel infills. Hot-dip galvanising provides effective protection against corrosion, ensuring the structure maintains durability and aesthetics for many years – even in demanding atmospheric conditions. The characteristic silver zinc coating is a visible guarantee of protection quality.
Installation and application
In standard version, the post is adapted for ground installation in point concrete foundations. The length 2.4 m provides greater design flexibility – allows for deeper embedding (up to 80–100 cm) whilst maintaining full fence height above ground level. It is possible to use the post with steel base plate with mounting holes, enabling bolting to hard surface, plinth or dwarf wall. Fence infills are mounted to posts using side or rear fixings – depending on the selected infill model. Recommended centre-to-centre spacing of posts for infills of typical width is 265 cm.
