How to choose
- Profile: 60x40 mm suits panel and mesh fencing. 80x80 mm also suits gates and wicket gates. Fi 42.4 and Fi 48.3 mm tubes are used for chain-link and woven mesh.
- Wall thickness: choose 1.2-3 mm according to the load. The 100x100 mm posts are available with 2 mm or 3 mm walls.
- Length: lengths run from 2.0 to 2.4 m. Match the length to the fence height and the depth of embedding or the base.
- Finish and colour: galvanised, or powder-coated in RAL 6005 green, RAL 7016 graphite, RAL 9005 black or RAL 8017 brown. Several coated posts also have Z140 galvanising or hot-dip galvanising underneath.
- Accessories: some posts are supplied with an end or protective cap. Check the product details before ordering.
Typical applications
These posts carry panel fencing, mesh fencing and chain-link fencing on residential, commercial and industrial sites. The 80x80 mm posts also support garden gates and lightweight driveway gates. Posts can be embedded in the ground or in point foundations, or fixed to a steel base plate.

Posts are installed in the ground, in point foundations or on a steel base plate. For the 60x40 mm post at 2.4 m, embedding in concrete foundations to a suitable depth is recommended.
What finishes are available?
Posts are galvanised or powder-coated. Colours are RAL 6005 green, RAL 7016 graphite, RAL 9005 black and RAL 8017 brown. The coated posts are also zinc-protected.
Are caps included?
