Indicator Lights for Voltage and Phase Presence Signalling

Our Indicator Lights category contains LED indicator lights for 230 V AC installations and three-phase networks. They show that voltage is present, either on a single circuit or on each of three phases. They suit installers and panel builders who need a clear visual status in distribution boards and control cabinets.

What you will find in this category

  • Triple multicolour LED indicators, with red, green and orange or yellow LEDs, for three-phase networks (Hager, F&F Filipowski, Zamel).
  • Triple red LED indicator, 230 V AC, for signalling the operation of the electrical system (Hager SVN127).
  • Triple green LED indicator, 3×230 V+N, with one green LED per phase (F&F Filipowski LK-713 G).
  • Three-phase voltage presence indicator with a separate light for each phase (ETI).
  • Single LED indicator lights, red or green, 230 V AC (Hager SVN122 and SVN121).

How to choose

  • Colour: choose red, green or a multicolour set. The range includes red, green and red/green/orange or yellow versions.
  • Number of phases: use a single LED for one circuit. Use a triple indicator to see the state of each of the three phases.
  • Supply voltage: the range covers 230 V AC, 3×230 V+N and 230 V/400 V. Check the network type, as the Zamel LKM-01-40 is suitable for a TN network with neutral conductor.
  • Mounting and connection: the Zamel model mounts on a TH 35 rail. The Hager SVN129 has screw terminals, IP20 protection and dimensions of 62 x 83 x 17.5 mm.
  • Brand: Hager, F&F Filipowski, Zamel and ETI are available, which helps you match existing board equipment.

Typical applications

Triple indicators show whether each phase of a three-phase supply is live. If a phase drops out, the unlit LED shows which one, which speeds up fault finding. Single LED lights confirm that mains voltage is present on a circuit. Most three-phase types listed here occupy one module.

Frequently asked questions

What does a triple indicator light show?

Each of the three phases has its own LED, which lights when that phase is energised. If one phase fails, you can see immediately which one has stopped working.

Can I use an indicator in a TN network with a neutral wire?

Yes, the Zamel LKM-01-40 is designed for a three-phase TN network, meaning one with a neutral N wire. It mounts on a TH 35 rail.

What cable sizes fit the Hager SVN129 terminals?

Its screw terminals accept flexible conductors of 0.75/6 mm² and solid conductors of 0.75/10 mm². The tightening torque is 1.7 Nm.
