About the product
The gear rack transmits drive from the gate motor pinion to the sliding gate leaf. It is bolted along the gate leaf, and the motor pinion runs along its teeth.
The teeth have module m 4, matching a motor pinion of the same module. The rack has a length L of 1000 mm, a height including teeth H of 30 mm and a thickness t of 8 mm. Mounting spacers 3 × M8 are included.
The steel is zinc-coated (zinc-coated), which protects it against corrosion under typical conditions. Each piece weighs 1.7 kg.
Selection and installation
- ✓Check the module of the gate motor pinion – the rack has module 4.
- ✓Bolt the racks to the gate leaf through the mounting spacers 3 × M8; the slotted holes allow the rack to be levelled.
- ✓Maintain continuous tooth pitch at the joints between racks; leave clearance between the rack and pinion as specified in the gate motor instructions.
