Carriage 68 for sliding gate – 8 steel rollers, 68×68 system
The Carriage 68 is a key component of the 68×68 sliding gate system, responsible for smooth, quiet and stable guidance of the gate leaf along the cantilever gate track. Fitted with 8 steel rollers arranged on two levels, it distributes loads evenly and eliminates skew forces acting on the bearings, which directly translates into a longer service life and less noise during operation.
Durable construction and corrosion protection
The carriage body is made of high-quality steel protected against corrosion by electro-galvanising. As a result, the component is fully resistant to changing weather conditions, including rain, moisture and temperature fluctuations, and ensures many years of trouble-free operation even with intensive gate use.
The rolling system uses 6201 RS ball bearings with rubber seals, which protect the inside of the bearing from contamination and ensure quiet, smooth roller operation. The two-level running system eliminates skew forces, which further extends bearing life and reduces rolling resistance.
Easy installation adjustment
The base design with M14 bolt fixing allows precise height adjustment of the carriage on the foundation anchors – simply insert suitable washers. This allows the installer to quickly adjust the gate position to site conditions, without the need for additional tools or components. The carriage is compatible with the cantilever gate track designed for the 68×68 system.
