5-roller carriage for aluminium profile of sliding gates
The 5-roller carriage is a key component of a cantilever sliding gate system, designed to work with aluminium profiles. The five plastic (nylon) rollers ensure smooth and quiet gate travel, minimising friction, vibration and wear of the running components. The galvanised steel construction guarantees high corrosion resistance and long-lasting, trouble-free operation, even in demanding outdoor weather conditions.
Design and principle of operation
The carriage consists of a sturdy mounting plate fixed to the gate foundation and a body with five rollers: three main load-bearing rollers and two lateral guide rollers. The nylon rollers are mounted on bearings, ensuring smooth movement even under heavy loads. A clamping element (clip) allows the gate's guide rail to be securely locked in the carriage seat. Thanks to the well-thought-out design, installation is quick and requires no specialist tools; simply bolt the mounting plate to the foundation using bolts passed through the mounting holes.
