The 2-plate earth clamp is a reliable component for lightning protection and earthing installations, designed for making cross-bonding connections between round conductors with a diameter of 14 to 20 mm and flat conductors up to 40 mm wide. Its robust two-plate construction ensures a durable and secure electrical contact under all weather conditions.
High corrosion resistance — the clamp is manufactured from electrolytically galvanised steel. The specialist galvanising process, combined with a polymer seal, provides the highest level of anti-corrosion protection, confirmed by independent laboratory testing. This guarantees years of trouble-free operation even in demanding outdoor environments.
The product has been tested in accordance with EN 62561-1 and classified as Class H2 — it is rated to carry an impulse lightning current of 200 kA. This ensures safety and compliance with current lightning protection standards.
Quick on-site installation — the clamp is fitted with four M8×25 bolts, enabling even clamping pressure across both plates and a stable connection without the need for specialist tools. The straightforward design ensures efficient installation even when making a large number of connections.
