Description
Wire rope grip for steel ropes, galvanised, 5 mm – DIN 741 equivalent

Wire rope grip DIN 741 for steel wire ropes with a diameter of 5 mm. The body is made of cast iron, while the U-bolt and nuts are made of C15 steel with a galvanised coating, providing effective corrosion protection in outdoor conditions. The grip is used to form permanent loops at the ends of steel wire ropes — the manufacturer recommends using at least 3 grips per loop at spacings of 16.5 to 33 mm. The design compliant with the DIN 741 standard guarantees dimensional repeatability and compatibility with ropes and fittings from other manufacturers. Fastening is done with two nuts on an M5 thread, which allows the U-bolt to be tightened precisely onto the rope using standard workshop spanners.
Features and applications
- Forming loops and terminations on 5 mm diameter steel wire ropes in guying, fencing and lifting installations
- The U-bolt design with two bolts ensures even clamping pressure and a secure hold on the rope
- The galvanised coating protects against corrosion, allowing installation in outdoor conditions
- Compliance with DIN 741 makes selection easier and ensures interchangeability with fittings from other manufacturers
- Sales unit: 1 piece — you can order exactly the quantity you need

The technical drawing shows the key dimensions of the grip: A — nut thread, B — U-bolt height, C — bolt spacing (body width). These dimensions allow you to select a grip for a specific rope diameter and verify compatibility with an existing installation.
