DIN 976 threaded rods made from A4 stainless steel are widely used in professional installations requiring durability and resistance to atmospheric conditions. They are an essential element for mounting photovoltaic structures, fixing solar panels to roofs and constructing PV farms. They perform excellently in construction – for fixing roof trusses, mounting wall plates, suspending ceilings and in ventilation and air conditioning installations.
Thanks to the thread along the entire length, the rod can be freely cut to the required dimension without loss of functionality. Compatible with standard nuts DIN 934, washers DIN 125 and all types of chemical and mechanical fixings, including resin anchors and expansion sleeves.
Stainless steel A4 (also designated as V4A or AISI 316) is an austenitic chromium-nickel steel with addition of molybdenum (Mo 2-3%), belonging to corrosion resistance class CRC III. Thanks to the molybdenum content, A4 steel offers significantly higher resistance to corrosion and acid action compared to A2 steel. It is suitable for environments with increased chloride content, including swimming pools, coastal areas, chemical and food industries.
