DIN 976 threaded rods made from A2 stainless steel are widely used in professional installations requiring durability and resistance to atmospheric conditions. They are an essential element for mounting photovoltaic structures, fixing solar panels to roofs and constructing PV farms. They perform excellently in construction – for securing roof trusses, mounting wall plates, suspending ceilings and in ventilation and air conditioning installations.
Thanks to the thread along the entire length, the rod can be freely cut to the required dimension without loss of functionality. Compatible with standard DIN 934 nuts, DIN 125 washers and all types of chemical and mechanical fixings, including resin anchors and expansion sleeves.
A2 stainless steel (also designated as V2A or AISI 304) is an austenitic chromium-nickel steel belonging to corrosion resistance class CRC II. It is characterised by good corrosion resistance in atmospheric conditions and is suitable for applications in equipment installation, timber construction, balustrades and architecture. It is not recommended for use in environments with high chloride content (swimming pools, coastal areas) – in such cases, A4 steel should be selected.
