Description
TCS wood screw M6x60/36 stainless steel A2 – PV rafter mounting

TCS M6x60/36 wood screw made from A2 stainless steel (1.4301, grade 304) is a dedicated fastening component designed for photovoltaic installations on wooden roofs. The screw is used to fix roof hooks directly into wooden rafters, ensuring a durable and secure connection between the mounting structure and the substrate. The head, designed for a Torx key, guarantees precise tightening with repeatable torque, while the unique shape of the cutting tip allows easy driving even into very hard wood species — without the need for pre-drilling. The austenitic A2 stainless steel provides exceptional corrosion resistance thanks to the nickel content in the alloy, ensuring many years of trouble-free use in variable weather conditions.
Advantages of the TCS screw for PV installers
- The Torx socket ensures secure bit engagement and eliminates the risk of the tool slipping during installation
- The specially designed cutting tip makes it easy to drive into hard wood without pre-drilling, speeding up installation on the roof
- Austenitic A2-1.4301 steel — non-magnetic, flexible and resistant to stress and corrosion in all environmental conditions
- The 36 mm threaded length ensures deep and stable anchoring in the roof rafter
- Compatible with roof hooks for photovoltaic systems installed on tiled roofs
