Description
Swivel hook with safety catch 1000 kg – galvanised and painted C45 steel

The swivel hook with safety catch HZO1000 is a durable piece of rigging hardware designed for use with wire ropes and chains. The C45 steel construction provides high mechanical strength, and the built-in safety catch effectively prevents the rope from slipping out of the hook throat during lifting and load transport. The swivel eye allows the hook to rotate freely relative to the sling, which eliminates rope twisting and makes it easier to position the load on site. A red RAL 3020 powder coating applied over a zinc layer provides double corrosion protection, extending the service life of the hardware even in demanding outdoor conditions. The hook is sold individually, so you order exactly as many as you need to complete your sling.
Key features of the HZO hook
- The swivel eye rotates freely through 360°, preventing ropes and chains from twisting during lifting
- The spring-loaded safety catch closes the hook throat automatically, minimising the risk of the sling slipping out under load
- Double corrosion protection — hot-dip galvanising plus powder coating — keeps the WLL markings legible even after long outdoor use
- High safety factor — the ultimate breaking force is many times the working load, ensuring safe operation with a strength reserve
- The WLL marking embossed on the body makes it easy to identify the load capacity during periodic inspections of the hardware

The HZO series is a proven line of swivel hooks with safety catch, used in wire rope and chain rigging. The HZO1000 model is intended for single-leg and multi-leg slings where the hook must be able to rotate without dismantling the sling. The forged C45 steel body provides resistance to the dynamic and shock loads typical of work on construction sites, in production halls and when unloading materials. The clear WLL marking embossed on the body makes it easy to identify the hook's load capacity during periodic inspections of the hardware.

The technical drawing shows the dimensional markings of the HZO series hook. The letters correspond to the key dimensions: A — overall height of the hook, C — throat height, B — eye width, J — throat opening, Q — eye pin width, O — pin diameter, T and G — shank cross-section dimensions, M — throat thickness.
