Description
Swing hook, metric thread, galvanised M6×80 mm
HOH M6×80 swing hook, metric thread is a steel screw fastener with a distinctive bent eye, designed for point fixing of cables, ropes, chains and light installation components in timber and masonry structures. The closed eye end (the so-called swing eye) allows items to be hung freely and to rotate, which is useful wherever the connection must remain movable. The hook is made of steel with an electro-galvanised coating, which provides basic corrosion protection in indoor and covered conditions. The metric thread, of suitable length, allows the hook to be screwed directly into timber (with an appropriate pilot hole) or fixed into a substrate using an expansion plug and nut.
