Surge arrester type 2 (C) 4P 20kA 1.5kV ETITEC C T2 275/20 4+0 002440395 by ETI is an advanced protective device designed to protect electrical installations from the effects of lightning and surges that may occur when switching on or off an unloaded overhead line.
These devices can be classified as follows: class B provides protection for installations against direct and close lightning strikes, class C protects against commutation surges, and class D offers additional protection for highly sensitive electrical equipment. In addition, surge arresters are divided into three types: cut-off, limiting and combined.
