Surge arrester PV DC Type 2 (C) 1100V 3P 20kA 3.8kV ETITEC M T2 PV 1100/20 Y 002440515 ETI is an advanced protective device that is used to protect electrical installations from the effects of lightning and surges occurring when switching on or off an unloaded overhead line.
Lightning arresters are divided into three classes. Class B protects the installation against direct and close lightning strikes, class C protects against commutation surges and class D additionally protects highly sensitive electrical equipment. There are also three types of surge arresters: cut-off, limiting and combined.
