Starflex A60 fibre disc is a durable abrasive material designed for intensive machining of mild steel and structural steel. Thanks to the use of corundum grain with P60 grit it provides aggressive yet controlled material removal — ideal for grinding welds, removing rust, scale and preparing surfaces for welding and painting.
The disc is mounted on the backing pad of an angle grinder via the central 22 mm bore with cross-shaped cut, which facilitates quick changeover at the workstation. The fibre backing gives the disc high stiffness and tear resistance at high speeds, whilst maintaining the flexibility needed for working on slightly curved surfaces.
Corundum grain is amongst the hardest abrasive materials — ensuring long working time without loss of cutting efficiency. P60 grit falls within the medium-coarse range, meaning rapid removal of material allowances whilst maintaining acceptable smoothness of the machined surface. This is the optimal choice for daily workshop and assembly work.
