T29 bent flap disc from Starflex with zirconia coating and P100 grit — a tool designed specifically for intensive machining of stainless steel (INOX). Zirconia grain has self-sharpening properties, which directly translates to extended disc life and fewer replacements during multi-hour grinding operations. This enables installation teams to complete jobs faster whilst reducing consumable material costs.
The bent T29 profile provides a narrow contact surface with the workpiece, increasing grinding pressure and improving material removal rate. This solution is ideal for working on edges, corners and welds — wherever precision is as important as performance. The optimal working angle is 10°–25°.

Material compatibility
The disc is primarily intended for machining stainless steel (INOX) — it achieves the highest performance with this material. It can also be used for machining carbon steel, with slightly lower cutting efficiency.

The disc backing is made from strong fibreglass — a material combining rigidity with lightness. The vibration absorption properties of the fibreglass backing increase operator control during work, which is crucial for precise grinding of steel structural elements and installations. Evenly distributed abrasive flaps ensure a uniform machining finish across the entire working surface, eliminating the need for excessive pressure.
