Starflex HD is an innovative ceramic grain flap disc, designed for intensive rough machining and grinding of steel, stainless steel (INOX), chromium, titanium and other difficult-to-machine metals. The self-sharpening ceramic grain, evenly distributed on the flaps, ensures maximum material removal in a short time — an ideal solution for installation crews who need a reliable tool for daily work on construction sites and in workshops.
The disc performs excellently when removing excess metal, old paint and rust, chamfering edges, smoothing welds after welding and precise surface cleaning before repainting. The conical profile type T29 facilitates angled grinding and allows comfortable work in hard-to-reach places.

Construction and backing material
The abrasive has been made on high-quality backing combining cotton and polyester. Cotton promotes polishing and ensures so-called cool grinding with effective heat dissipation. Polyester enables fast and effective machining of difficult-to-machine materials — hard metals such as stainless steel, chromium, titanium or precious metals.
