Starflex HD is a ceramic flap disc designed for intensive machining of stainless steel (INOX), carbon steel, chromium, titanium and other difficult-to-machine metals. Self-sharpening ceramic grain ensures maximum material removal in a short time, whilst guaranteeing a so-called cool grind — the workpiece does not heat up or change colour even during prolonged operation.
The disc combines the function of a cutting disc and grinding wheel — it performs well both for coarse removal of excess metal and for surface finishing. This means fewer tools are needed at the workstation, which speeds up job completion and reduces consumable costs.

Application

Type T29 (conical) provides better conformity to the workpiece surface at an angle, which is particularly beneficial when grinding welds and edges. The disc is compatible with standard 125mm angle grinders with 22.2mm mounting hole.
