Star Flex HD is an innovative ceramic flap disc type T29, designed for intensive rough machining, grinding and smoothing of welds. Self-sharpening ceramic grain with 80 grit ensures high abrasive performance whilst maintaining low temperature of the machined surface — the material does not heat up or discolour even during prolonged work.
The disc excels at removing excess metal, old paint and rust, precise surface cleaning before repainting, edge chamfering and deburring of elements after welding. Designed for working with steel, stainless steel (INOX), chromium, titanium, noble metals and other difficult-to-machine materials.
