Star Flex T29 125 mm flap disc is a high-quality abrasive tool with aluminium oxide coating, designed for professional steel machining. The bent Type 29 construction ensures optimal working at an angle of 10°–25°, which translates to precise surface grinding, effective edge bevelling and rapid material removal. Thanks to grit 60, the disc combines efficient abrasion with uniform finish – an ideal solution for installation teams working with steel structures, welding and profile machining.

Construction and advantages
The disc backing is made from strong fibreglass – rigid, lightweight and effectively absorbing vibrations. The operator gains better control over the tool, and minimal pressure is sufficient for effective grinding. The flap arrangement of abrasive ensures uniform wear across the entire working surface, which extends disc life and reduces operating costs at the workstation.
Bent (T29) vs. flat design
The presented disc has a bent design (Type T29 / TLS) – a narrower contact surface with the material increases grinding pressure and improves material removal speed. This is a solution dedicated to working on edges, bevelling and deburring. The alternative is flat design (Type TLIF / TLSF), offering a wider contact zone – suitable for machining large, flat surfaces.
