Square aluminium tube 80×80×3 mm is a sturdy closed profile with a square cross-section, made from EN AW-6060 T64 aluminium (PA38, AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, it is an ideal structural element wherever low weight, corrosion resistance, and ease of machining are required.
The profile, with a length of 2000 mm and a weight of just 5 kg (2.5 kg/m), significantly simplifies transport and installation compared with steel equivalents. PA38 aluminium requires no additional corrosion protection, which reduces operating costs and shortens project lead times.
Applications
The 80×80 square tube is suited to a wide range of uses — from aluminium structures, balustrades, and handrails, through frames, load-bearing structures, and furniture, to decorative elements and modelling or DIY projects. Its ease of cutting, drilling, bending, and joining allows the profile to be flexibly adapted to the individual requirements of any project.
