Square aluminium tube 50×50×2 mm – closed profile L=2000 mm
Square aluminium tube 50×50×2 mm is a durable closed profile with a length of 2000 mm, made of EN AW-6060 T6/T66 aluminium alloy (PA38, AlMgSi0,5). Thanks to its square cross-section and 2 mm wall thickness, the profile offers high rigidity at a low weight of only 2,08 kg. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows further finishing — anodising, powder coating or painting — according to the requirements of your project.
The profile is easy to machine — it can be cut, drilled, threaded, bent and joined with screws, rivets or by welding without any problems. This makes it an ideal structural element in photovoltaic installations as well as in the construction of balustrades, frames, mounting frames, furniture and decorative elements.

Properties of EN AW-6060 alloy
AlMgSi0,5 alloy in the T6/T66 temper belongs to the group of aluminium alloys with good mechanical strength, excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion and very good formability. It is one of the most popular alloys used in structural and architectural profiles. Its corrosion resistance allows the profile to be used both inside and outside buildings — without the need for additional anti-corrosion protection in standard conditions.
The profile is supplied in fixed lengths, which simplifies material planning for cutting to size and minimises waste on the construction site.
