Square aluminium tube 50×50×2 mm is a sturdy closed profile with a length of 2000 mm, made from aluminium alloy EN AW-6060 T64 (PA38, AlMgSi0.5). Thanks to its square cross-section and wall thickness of 2 mm, the profile provides high rigidity with a low self-weight of just 2.08 kg. The raw (unanodised) surface allows for further processing — anodising, powder coating, or painting — in accordance with the requirements of a specific project.
The profile is easy to machine — it can be cut, drilled, tapped, bent, and joined using bolts, rivets, or welding without difficulty. This makes it an ideal structural element for photovoltaic installations as well as for the construction of balustrades, frames, mounting racks, furniture, and decorative elements.

Properties of EN AW-6060 alloy
The AlMgSi0.5 alloy in the T64 temper belongs to the group of aluminium alloys with good mechanical strength, excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion, and very good formability. It is one of the most widely used alloys in structural and architectural profiles. Its corrosion resistance allows the profile to be used both indoors and outdoors — without the need for additional corrosion protection under standard conditions.
