Description
Square aluminium tube 120×120×2.5 mm – closed profile L=2000 mm

Square aluminium tube 120×120×2.5 mm is a sturdy closed profile with a square cross-section, manufactured from EN AW-6060 T64 aluminium alloy (AlMgSi0.5 / PA38). Thanks to its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, it is an ideal material for constructing aluminium structures, frames, railings, balustrades, as well as decorative elements and furniture.
The profile, with a length of 2000 mm and a weight of just 6.34 kg, combines high rigidity with low weight, making it easy to transport, handle, and install on site. The raw (non-anodised) surface allows for any finishing treatment — powder coating, anodising, or painting — depending on project requirements.

Properties and applications
The AlMgSi0.5 alloy provides excellent resistance to atmospheric corrosion and outstanding machinability — the profile can be easily cut, drilled, bent, and joined using standard methods. The closed square cross-section ensures high rigidity at low weight, making this tube a versatile structural component.
Typical applications:
- Aluminium structures — load-bearing frames, supports, skeletons
- Balustrades and handrails — safety systems for balconies, staircases, and terraces
- Furniture and decorative elements — table legs, shelving units, covers
- Modelling and DIY — prototypes, workstations, machine frames
The profile is available in a range covering many cross-sectional dimensions and wall thicknesses — allowing selection of the optimum variant for a specific project.
