Solar cable H1Z2Z2-K AR 1×10 mm² red – with anti-rodent protection
Photovoltaic cable H1Z2Z2-K AR 1×10 mm² red is a single-core solar cable with anti-rodent additive (AR) in the outer sheath. Thanks to a special agent that repels rodents, insects and termites, this cable provides a reliable solution wherever traditional cables are exposed to mechanical damage caused by pests.
10 mm² cross-section ensures low resistance and the ability to transmit higher currents, making this cable an ideal choice for longer cable runs in ground-mounted power plants, higher-power roof installations and for connections between strings and inverters.
Why does AR protection matter? Cable damage caused by rodents is one of the most common causes of PV installation failures, especially in rural areas and near farm buildings. The anti-rodent additive in the outer sheath effectively repels pests, eliminating the risk of costly downtime and repairs.
Cable construction
- Conductor: copper, multi-wire, tinned, class 5 according to PN-EN 60228
- Insulation: cross-linked halogen-free compound, white colour
- Sheath: cross-linked halogen-free compound with AR additive, red colour
- Optional: screen of CuSn wires or armouring of FeZn steel wires
