Gate Trolley — Construction and Operation

The gate trolley is fitted with 5 metal rollers, including 1 horizontal roller, ensuring stable guidance of the gate along the track. The swivel construction — the trolley is connected to the base plate via a pivot pin — means it automatically adjusts to the sliding gate, compensating for any unevenness or deviation in the track. The trolley height is adjustable via screws, facilitating precise gate alignment during installation.

Steel Guide Roller Bracket

The guide roller bracket is fixed to the gate post and receives the guide roller as the gate closes. This design means the gate's weight is distributed across a greater number of components, stabilising the gate in the closed position and significantly extending the service life of the gate trolleys. The rear face features 2 mounting holes and a rubber buffer to absorb impact.

The correct trolley spacing (LW) depends on the clear opening width of the gate (L) and the gate weight (P). The table below shows the recommended trolley spacing values in metres, ensuring optimal performance and system longevity:

• Gate weight 225 kg: spacing from 1.10 m (L=3.0 m) to 1.90 m (L=5.0 m)

• Gate weight 275 kg: spacing from 1.40 m (L=3.0 m) to 2.30 m (L=5.0 m)
