About the product

An S-shaped chain connecting link is an S-shaped hook. It is used for suspending and connecting chains, attachment points and small hardware.

The size and bar diameter D are 6 mm. Length A is 47 mm, and the gap C is 7 mm, determining which component will fit into the hook. Before use, check that the component to be connected passes through the gap C. Suspend it so that the load acts along the hook's axis, not on the tip. If necessary, pinch the tip closed to reduce the risk of accidental disengagement. The dimensions given are nominal values according to the manufacturer's datasheet (with a tolerance of ±5%).

Material: C5–C10 steel. Coating: zinc-coated. The zinc coating protects the steel against corrosion under normal conditions. Where there is contact with salt, chemicals or persistent moisture, choose the material according to the exposure conditions. The rated load according to the manufacturer's technical datasheet is 50 kg and must not be exceeded. The breaking load of 125 kg is an ultimate value, not the working load. The product is not intended for lifting loads or for personal fall protection. Replace the component if it is worn, deformed or corroded.
